The house is furnished entirely with the possessions of the original owners, the Zalud family, who lived in the house until it was given to the city of Porterville in 1970. A guided tour takes you through the museum, giving you fascinating insights into life in the house as it was. A beautiful rose garden provides a lovely spot to stop and rest on your way around.
