The Power

The 2022 Blazer comes with either a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine or a 3.6-liter V-6 that puts out 308 horsepower. This SUV offers a choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and both use a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Edge also has a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, and it offers a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6, but only if you choose the ST trim level. When equipped with a hitch, the Blazer has more towing power and can pull up to 4,500 pounds. The Edge maxes out at 3,500 pounds.

Interior Quality

The Blazer has a much nicer cabin than the Edge and comes well-equipped with infotainment technology and convenience features. The base trim has an 8-inch touch screen, Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. The Premier trim has perforated leather upholstery, integrated navigation, and an optional Bose stereo system. The entry-level Edge also has a large touch screen Wi-Fi, and it has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but the Blazer's interior has a more upscale look and feel.
